Fur Peace Ranch Article in Fretboard Journal
The Fur Peace Ranch article in the Fretboard Journal’s summer 2009 issue was great! To quote a short bit:
With Fur Peace Ranch, Hot Tuna’s Jorma Kaukonen has created an idyllic retreat where guitarists and mandolin players from all over the world can learn from some of the masters. As photographer Eric Futran discovers, this place is far more than just a “guitar camp.” Here, players such as Bill Kirchen, Chris Hillman, GE Smith and David Bromberg are having a blast alongside their students.

Concert For A Cause 8 CD
This just in…the Concert For A Cause 8 CD will be released February 4th at The Woodlands in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The track we chose this time is “Kindergaten” and was recorded at Saturation Acres. I’ll be heading back to the studio in late January to record a few more tracks before heading to Pomeroy, OH for a couple days to study with Jonathan Edwards at Fur Peace Ranch. A couple of moths ago there was great article about the place…check it out at Fretboard Journal. After that I’m hoping to do a short tour of the Mid-South-East in late April. Best wishes to you all.
